HOPR
Robert Kiel is currently a board member at HOPR. Prior to that, they were a dApp developer at Validity Labs AG from August 2018 to May 2020. There, they were responsible for the architecture and implementation of the HOPR.network protocol, as well as the development of cryptographic building blocks for products by Validity Labs AG. Robert was also the "crypto explainer" for all topics around cryptographic schemes and upcoming cryptographic trends for the topics blockchain and distributed ledger technologies (DLT).
Before their time at Validity Labs AG, Robert Kiel was a teaching assistant at Technical University Darmstadt from October 2015 to March 2018. There, they held board exercises and consulting hours for crypto lectures.
Robert Kiel has a Master of Science in IT-Security from Technische Universität Darmstadt and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the same school.
