Ryan Remmel

Ryan Remmel currently serves as the Director of Talent at the Horizon Institute for Public Service, a position held since June 2023. Previously, Ryan contributed at the Institute for Progress in 2023 and worked on the policy team for Friends of the Global Fight Against AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria in 2022. In the same year, Ryan was part of the Multilateral Relations Office within the Office of Global Affairs at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. From 2020 to 2022, Ryan was associated with the Center for Global Health Science and Security at Georgetown University Medical Center. Additionally, Ryan gained experience in 2020 in the Office of Congresswoman Anna Eshoo at the U.S. House of Representatives and briefly worked in 2019 in the Office of Senator Jim Beall at the California State Senate. Ryan holds a Master of Science in Global Infectious Disease and a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service, both from Georgetown University.
