Melissa Ferguson was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. She started her career with the Planet Beach Franchise as a Spa Consultant in 2009, while pursuing her degree in the medical field as a Louisiana State Medical licensed mobile Phlebotomist. Melissa worked for Examination Management Services and Quest Diagnostics, where she conducted medical studies such as in-home biospecimen collections, medical records data, abstraction and health screenings. In 2018, Melissa found her way back to her roots with Planet Beach, and was hired as the Spa Director of Planet Beach Elmwood. Melissa excelled in her role and was eager to make the transition to Corporate. In December 2019, Melissa accepted the position for Planet Beach & HOTWORX Franchising as the Legal Affairs and Human Resources Manager. She has a passion for fitness and family and is committed to supporting the success of both franchise brands.
