House of Design Robotics
April D.'s work experience begins in 2000 when they joined the USGS National Water Quality Laboratory as a Chemical Engineer. April worked in this role from June 2000 to October 2002. In 2012, they co-founded House of Design Robotics and also served as a Chemical Engineer. Since 2021, April D. has been working as a Private Pilot. Additionally, they currently hold the position of President at First Flight, LLC, starting in January 2022.
April D. completed their Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines from 1997 to 2001. Prior to that, they attended the University of Utah from 1995 to 1997, also studying Chemical Engineering. In addition to their academic background, April has obtained additional certifications. In September 2009, they became a certified Food Safety Advisor from the University of Idaho. Furthermore, in July 2021, they obtained a Private Aircraft Pilot certification from the Federal Aviation Administration.
