Xin Yi

Xin Yi, PhD, DABCC, FACB, currently serves as the Co-director of Clinical Chemistry at Houston Methodist since February 2017, focusing on medical practice, laboratory medicine, clinical diagnostic innovations, and precision medicine. Prior to this role, Xin held the position of Associate Director of Clinical Chemistry at Houston Methodist Hospital from September 2015 to February 2017 and completed a Clinical Chemistry Fellowship at The University of Chicago between July 2013 and August 2015. Xin earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Clinical Bioanalytical Chemistry from Cleveland State University (2007-2012) and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Biotechnology from China Agricultural University (2003-2007).
