Catarina Marques has work experience at two companies. From March 2015 to July 2016, they worked at Hikma Farmacêutica (Portugal), S.A. as a Trainee and later as a Chemical Analyst. Since July 2016, they have been working at Hovione. Catarina started as an Analyst and was promoted to Analyst Senior before becoming an Analyst Coordinator. Currently, they hold the position of Quality Control Team Lead.
Catarina Marques obtained a Licentiate degree in Chemical and Biological Engineering from the Instituto Superior de Engenharia de Lisboa, where they studied from 2009 to 2015. Catarina further pursued a Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering from the same institution between 2016 and 2019. Additionally, in 2018, they completed a course in Nutrigenomics and Nutrigenetics in Clinical Research at the Escola Superior de Tecnologia da Saúde de Lisboa.
