Melissa Csikari

Melissa Csikari currently serves as the Director of Assessment and Learning Design and previously held roles including Manager of BioInteractive and Program Officer at Howard Hughes Medical Institute since September 2015. In addition, Melissa has been an Associate Professor at Germanna Community College since January 2011 and was a Biology Teacher at Stafford County Public Schools from December 2002 to August 2015. Early career experience includes serving as Lab Manager at the University of Pittsburgh from October 1998 to February 2003. Melissa's educational background consists of a Doctor of Education (EdD) from The Johns Hopkins University (2020-2023), a Graduate Certificate in Project Management from Penn State World Campus (2017-2018), a Master of Science in Chemical and Life Science from the University of Maryland (2008-2010), and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from La Roche University (1996-1998).
