Ron Smith

Ron Smith has extensive experience in higher education administration, currently serving as the Executive Director at Howard University since October 2016. Prior to this role, Ron held the position of Vice President of Student Affairs at Baltimore City Community College from February 1995 to August 2015. Additionally, Ron was the Director of Financial Aid at Coppin State University from September 1991 to February 1995 and served as the Associate Director of Financial Aid at UMBC from February 1983 to September 1991. Ron's academic background includes an ABD in Urban Educational Leadership from Morgan State University and a Master's degree in Instructional Systems Design, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, both from the University of Maryland Baltimore County.
