Enrico Bertagna

Enrico Bertagna currently serves as Managing Director of Bowood Europe, a division of Howden Re, specializing in delegated binding authority and recognized as the largest binder broker to Lloyd’s. Previously, Enrico held the position of Global Head of MGA Solutions at Zurich Insurance Company Ltd, where responsibility included building a multi-purpose MGA platform to support Zurich's global digital distribution strategy. Enrico also served as Senior Vice President for Business Development at Allied World, focusing on market expansion across Europe, Asia, and LATAM. With extensive experience at Lloyd's, Enrico led major initiatives in emerging markets across Southern and Eastern Europe and Africa, and managed Lloyd's operations in Italy, fostering local relationships and innovative strategies. Early in the career, Enrico worked as a broker for Richards, Longstaff Ltd, focusing on Italian accounts. Enrico's educational background includes management studies from the London Business School and MIB Trieste School of Management, complemented by a diploma in architecture from Alta Scuola Politecnica.
