Christina Lumbreras

Christina Lumbreras is a highly experienced embedded software engineer with a career spanning over two decades in the telecommunications and networking industries. Currently serving as a Staff Embedded Software Engineer at Hubbell Incorporated since August 2023, Christina focuses on research and development for future products and embedded firmware design across multiple architectures. Prior experience includes a role as a Staff Software Engineer at CommScope, where innovative design solutions were implemented for next-generation network and cloud access technologies. Christina also contributed as a Staff Software Engineer at ARRIS, specializing in application development and embedded firmware for cable TV systems, alongside leading efforts to migrate legacy products. Earlier roles included senior software engineering at C-COR, where Christina worked on RTOS integration and proprietary protocols, and at Philips Electronics, where hardware and firmware design for CATV modules was key. Christina holds degrees from Syracuse University and the University of Rochester.
