Elizabeth Brill, MD, MBA, FACOG, currently serves as Deputy Chief Medical Officer at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, with previous roles including Acting Deputy to the Assistant Undersecretary for Health for Community Care and Chief Medical Officer for the Office of Community Care. Brill's extensive experience in healthcare leadership also includes positions as Chief Operating Officer at Riverside Methodist Hospital and Director of Surgical Services at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. Additionally, Brill has a history of military service in the U.S. Army, achieving the rank of Lieutenant Colonel and serving as Chief of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Educational qualifications include an MBA with a focus on Health Administration and Policy from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Doctor of Medicine from The University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine.
