María Grandury

María Grandury is the founder of Somos NLP, a prominent international network dedicated to advancing natural language processing (NLP) in Spanish, boasting over 1900 members. Since 2021, María has also been a Hugging Face Fellow and has held roles such as a machine learning engineer at Clibrain and neurocat GmbH, focusing on issues like AI robustness and cultural sensitivity in natural language understanding. Current research activities include LLM evaluation at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. María's educational background includes a Master of Science in Language Technologies and dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Mathematics and Physics, complemented by advanced studies at Université Paris-Saclay.
