Sara Jenkins-Jones

Sara Jenkins-Jones has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Sara started their career as a Project Editor at Hutchinson Reference, Random House in 1990. Sara then served as a Managing Editor at Helicon Publishing from 1994 to 1996. Following that, they worked as a Freelance Editor for two years before joining Bowne Global Solutions/Adastra Publishing as a Regional Senior Editor. In this role, they managed editorial teams in six countries and provided services and content for Microsoft websites and search engine. Sara also worked as a Content Localization Consultant for ask.com. Afterward, they returned to freelance editing from 1996 to 1998. In 2001, Sara worked as a Freelance Editor once again, and later joined Cardiff University in 2005 as a Research Student/Support Tutor. Sara then joined Human Data Sciences in 2009 as a Research Data Lead. Most recently, they worked as an Honorary Senior Research Associate at UCL from January 2016 to July 2017.

Sara Jenkins-Jones obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Zoology from UCL, spanning from 1983 to 1986. Sara further pursued higher education and earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd, completing their studies from 2004 to 2005.
