Major Madhav Kumar

Major Madhav Kumar (Retd) has over 10 years of experience in various leadership and operational roles. Major Madhav started their career as an Operations Executive at New Age Software & Solutions (India) Pvt. Ltd in 2008. Major Madhav then worked as a Sales Manager at UTi Worldwide (DSV A/S) from 2009 to 2010. In 2010, they co-founded VASUMA and served as a Co-Founder until 2013. Major Kumar then joined the Indian Army in 2013 as a Major. In this role, they led, trained, and managed a team of 900 men and catered to logistic needs in active counter insurgency/terrorism areas. Major Madhav also managed a fleet of heavy vehicles and ensured safe and timely movement of troops and equipment. Major Kumar's last role was with HungerBox, where they worked as an Associate Vice President from July 2019 to January 2020 and then as the Vice President of Operations from February 2020 onwards.

Major Madhav Kumar (Retd) pursued a Master's degree from Annamalai University from 2010 to 2012. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Commerce in Business/Commerce, General with honors from Delhi University between 2005 and 2008. In 2019, they enrolled in the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow for a short-term course in Business Management. Additionally, they obtained a Lean Six Sigma certification from KPMG in the same year.
