Laura Gustafson, EI, is a Water Resources Project Engineer at HWC Engineering, where responsibilities include developing designs for municipal water, wastewater, and stormwater projects, conducting hydraulic modeling, and preparing compliance reports. Previous experience includes roles as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at Whelton Lab, performing studies on water softeners and their impact on drinking water quality. Prior internships at HWC Engineering involved design quality control for sanitary systems and contributing to significant long-term control programs. Additionally, Laura has experience in economic development and outreach initiatives related to soil health at Purdue University. Laura holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Purdue University.
