Kayla Winstead currently serves as Vice President of E-Commerce and Special Projects, as well as Vice President of Retail Media at Hy-Vee, Inc., roles undertaken since June 2020. Previously, Kayla held multiple positions, including Assistant Vice President of Project, Strategy & Planning and Director of IT - Project Management. Prior experience includes serving as Project Manager II and SCRUM Master at SHAZAM Network - ITS, Inc. and undertaking military training as an Airman First Class in the United States Air Force. Currently, Kayla is pursuing a Master of Business Administration with a focus on Marketing and Data Analytics at the University of Iowa, following a Bachelor of Business Administration from William Penn University.

Today' employee-owned Hy-Vee chain operates over 230 grocery stores and drugstores in Illinois, Iowa (home to approximately half of the company's stores), Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska and South Dakota.
