Mark Fernandes is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in IT leadership. Currently serving as the Chief Information & Technology Officer at Hydro Ottawa since September 2014, Mark aligns the organization’s technology initiatives with strategic objectives across various sectors, including electricity distribution and telecommunications. In addition to this role, Mark is the Executive Vice President at Hiboo Networks, where responsibilities include launching the company and developing financial and product strategies. Previously, Mark held various leadership positions at Corel Corporation from 2002 to 2014, overseeing global IT services and managing critical projects. Mark's educational background includes a Corporate Director designation from ICD-Rotman and a diploma in Information Technology, alongside a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce and Sociology from the University of Bombay.
