Vahan Otaryan is an experienced engineer and educator with a diverse background in firmware and hardware engineering. Vahan has served as an Adjunct Professor at the New Jersey Institute of Technology since January 2024 and has held the position of Senior Firmware Engineer at HYTORC since February 2017. Previous roles include Senior Firmware Engineer at Mesa Labs, Sr. Hardware/Software Engineer at Vaughn Thermal Corp., and Engineer, Hardware/Software at Electronics-Expo, all involving the design of analog and digital circuits for microcontrollers in various applications. Vahan's early career included work as an IC Design Engineer at Virage Logic, focusing on non-volatile memories, and as a Design Engineer at the Yerevan Computer R&D Institute, developing automated control systems. Vahan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in electronics from the State Engineering University of Armenia, earned in 1998.
