Bowon Lee

Bowon Lee has an extensive academic and professional background in electrical and computer engineering, currently serving as a Professor and Department Head of Electronic Engineering at Inha University since March 2014. Lee is also the Chair of the Artificial Intelligence Major and has held roles as an Affiliate Professor in the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Associate Professor. Previous industry experience includes positions as a Senior Research Scientist at Hewlett-Packard Laboratories, a Consultant focusing on Machine Learning for Audio at Xperi Corporation, and a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Lee's education comprises a Ph.D. and an MS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Seoul National University. Additional involvement includes organizing the Young Female Researchers in Speech Workshop in July 2022.
