Alex Mattos

Alex Mattos has extensive work experience in various leadership and engineering roles.

From 2020 to the present, Alex has been the Chief Operating Officer at i6 Group, overseeing operations and management functions.

Prior to that, from 2015 to 2020, Alex worked as the Operations Director at i6 Group, responsible for the overall operations of the company.

From 2014 to 2015, Alex was the Chief Engineer at i6 Systems, where they focused on developing cloud-based data capture and management systems for the aerospace industry.

From 2012 to 2014, Alex held the position of Head of Engineering - Customer Services at Ultra Electronics - PALS. In this role, they managed a team of engineers and project management staff to provide support to customers and develop aerospace and defense products.

From 2009 to 2012, Alex served as the Head of Engineering - Test Solutions at Ultra Electronics and from 2007 to 2009, they worked as the Chief Systems Engineer. Alex also held the role of Systems Engineering Team Lead in 2007. In these positions, Alex contributed to the development of Ultra's systems engineering processes and provided input for defense and aerospace projects.

Alex began their career at Ultra Electronics - Electrics in 2003 as a Graduate Engineer and later worked as an Electronics Engineer from 2004 to 2005.

Throughout their career, Alex has demonstrated strong technical and project management skills in the aerospace and defense industries.

Alex Mattos completed their B. Eng in Electronic Engineering from the University of Southampton between 2000 and 2003. Subsequently, they obtained an MSc in Systems Engineering Management from UCL from 2004 to 2007.
