Rahul Agarwal

Rahul Agarwal is an accomplished data scientist with extensive experience in machine learning and data analysis. From May 2022 to June 2025, Rahul served as Principal Data Scientist at IBM, where over 280 ML models were created to support an AI simulator generating prediction data for 89 golf players, reaching over 184,000 visitors with significant insights. In a brief tenure at Ralph Lauren as a Data Scientist, Rahul designed a Market Basket Analysis Framework leveraging over 9GB of retail transactional data via AWS SageMaker. A Data Science Intern at Goose Hollow Capital, model results were explained using SHAP values. In an earlier role at Oracle Utilities, contributions included configuring a scalable Kafka cluster for high-volume data streams. Rahul holds a Master of Science in Data Science from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology from Manipal Institute of Technology. Additionally, Rahul contributed as a member of the Data Science Institute Student Council at Columbia University.
