Sandi Besen is an experienced AI Research Engineer and Ecosystem Lead at IBM Research, with a robust background in managing strategic product launches and analyzing financial performance. Currently, Sandi holds the position of AI Advisor at Aleq, where unique AI solutions have been architected for the company's accounting platform. Additionally, Sandi has contributed to significant advancements in AI safety at Neudesic, co-developing a guardrail approach that surpasses leading models. With earlier experiences as a Data Scientist at FERN Analytics and a Product Development Intern at Kohl's, Sandi possesses a strong foundation in data science, machine learning, and business analytics, supported by a Master’s degree in Data Science & Business Analytics and a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from the University of Miami.
