Abhijit Dandavate

Abhijit Dandavate has a diverse work experience in the field of human resources. Abhijit started their career in 1997 at Herdillia Chemicals Ltd, where they initially worked as a Labor Welfare Officer before transitioning into HR. Abhijit gained experience in recruitment, induction, organizational development, industrial relations, and union activities. In 2005, they joined BPB India Gypsum as an Assistant Manager - HR, where they were responsible for plant HR activities. Abhijit then moved on to Piramal Glass Ltd in 2007 as a Manager - HR, where they handled HR activities and gained experience in labor unrest and implementing "SA 8000" standards. Their most recent role was at ICICI Securities, where they initially served as an Assistant Vice President - Human Resources and later advanced to the role of Vice President - Human Resources.

Abhijit Dandavate has a Master's degree in Labour Studies from the Maharashtra Institute of Labour Studies, which they obtained from 1995 to 1997. Abhijit also holds a Bachelor's degree in Science with a focus on Chemistry from Elphinstone College, Mumbai, earned between 1991 and 1994. For their secondary education, they attended Shardashram Vidya Mandir, Mumbai, where they completed their Secondery School Certificate from 1984 to 1989. Prior to that, Abhijit attended People's High School in Nanded, where they completed their Secondary School education from 1981 to 1984.
