Armyta Samia-Kalantari has worked in a variety of roles since 2015. Armyta began their career as a Shift Lead at Blazing Bagels and Bakery Inc. From 2019 to 2020, they were an Intern/Lab Aide at Arzeda, where they gained experience in upstream processing and Bio-safety level 1, including media preparation and autoclave sterilization. In 2020, they worked as a Midi/Maxi Production Associate at Blue Heron Biotech LLC, where they gained experience in E. coli growth and DNA extraction and purification. Armyta also worked as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Washington, providing instruction, grading exams and lab reports. From 2021 to 2023, they worked as a Research Associate at Neoleukin Therapeutics. Currently, they are a Research Associate II at Icosavax, Inc.
Armyta Samia-Kalantari graduated from Interlake Senior High School in 2016 with a High School Diploma. Armyta then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry at the University of Washington, which they completed in 2020.
