Terry has over three decades of experience in senior level capital markets roles, spanning investment banking, portfolio management and sell-side research. Prior to ICR Terry was a partner at AGC Partners, a boutique technology focused investment bank that focused on providing M&A and strategic advisory services to small to middle size technology companies. Prior to that he spent over 20 years as a portfolio manager, running tech focused hedge funds such as Camelot Capital and ING Furman Selz Asset Management (now Voya)in addition to long only mutual funds at Oak Ridge Investments that had several billion dollars in AUM focused on disruptive technology opportunities.
Terry began his capital markets career as a sell-side research analyst following the Software and Computer Services analyst where he was ranked in the Institutional Investor All American poll for almost a decade. He also headed the technology equity research groups at Drexal Burnham, Lehman Bros and Kidder Peabody. During his time on the sell-side he helped to take over a dozen companies public, and evaluated hundreds of technology IPOs during his portfolio manager career. Terry is a graduate of Middlebury College, with a BA in Political Science.
