Oscar Martinez III, M.Ed., serves as the National Director of College Partnerships at IDEA Public Schools since December 2015, where responsibilities include identifying and cultivating new college partnerships, supporting 100% matriculation for seniors, and increasing college persistence rates among alumni. Prior experience as Senior Director and Director of College Counseling involved guiding students and parents through the college admissions process and ensuring high school graduation readiness. The career began at Texas A&M University as a Scholarships & Financial Aid Advisor and included roles at The University of Texas at San Antonio focusing on financial aid and admissions. Oscar holds a BA in Political Science from Texas A&M University and a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from The University of Texas at San Antonio.
