Nigel Phillips

Nigel Phillips is an experienced geophysicist and leader in the field of geosciences, currently serving as Director at Ideon Technologies since April 2023. With a robust background that includes roles as Senior Scientist at Computational Geosciences Inc. and Director at Mira Geoscience, Nigel has a proven track record in project generation, direct project management, and the development of earth modeling and inversion software. Previous positions include Independent Consultant, Research Associate at the University of British Columbia, and Geophysicist at both Rio Tinto and Newmont Mining Corporation. Nigel holds an MSc in Geophysics from The University of British Columbia and a BSc in Geological/Geophysical Engineering from Colorado School of Mines.
