Derek Dresser

Derek Dresser is an accomplished cybersecurity and software development professional with extensive experience, currently serving as a Senior Cybersecurity Analyst for Product and Application Security at IDEXX since March 2013. In this role, Derek consults with product teams to enhance application security, leads threat modeling sessions, manages third-party penetration testing, and supports the Security Champions program. Derek also oversees two teams focused on DevOps and cybersecurity, having previously led configuration management and automated testing teams for embedded software projects. Prior experience includes positions at Provenir as a Technical Architect, TD Bank as a System Developer, and Gould Academy as Director of Technology, among others. Derek holds a Master’s in Cybersecurity from Northeastern University and a B.S. in Philosophy from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
