Johan Moonen

Johan Moonen is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the technology and consumer electronics sectors. Currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at iExec since 2021, Johan has previously held significant roles at Groupon as Lead Director for Goods Categories in the EMEA region and as Category Director for Consumer Electronics. Johan co-founded sleep improvement and weight loss start-ups between 2013 and 2015 and led the Consumer Electronics division at Amazon from 2010 to 2012. Earlier positions include Executive Director of Corporate Initiatives at General Electric, Director/General Manager at TCL Multimedia, and Associate Principal/Consultant at PRTM, now part of PwC. Educational credentials include an MBA for Executives from INSEAD and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology from Eindhoven University of Technology.
