LT Tess Schwartz is a Judge Advocate General in the United States Navy since July 2017. Prior to this role, LT Tess Schwartz worked as a Judicial Law Clerk for Chief Justice Karmeier at the Illinois Supreme Court. LT Tess Schwartz also served as an Assistant Appellate Prosecutor at the Illinois Office of the State's Attorneys Appellate Prosecutor. LT Tess Schwartz holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Southern Illinois University School of Law and a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Criminal Justice and Corrections from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale.
