Julie Hiner

Julie Hiner serves as the Head of Communications at Illumina since January 2025. Previously, Julie held several key positions at Lumen Technologies, including Chief Communications Officer and Vice President of Corporate Communications, from May 2015 to January 2024. Before Lumen Technologies, Julie worked in Executive Communications at AMD from March 2014 to May 2015, and held the role of Senior Director of Retail & Direct Bank Communications at Capital One from April 2009 to March 2014. Julie began a career in communications as Senior Vice President of Communications at Citigroup from June 2006 to April 2009. Julie earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies from Texas Lutheran University.
