Alireza Sheikh currently serves as a Senior Researcher at imec since September 2020, having previously held the position of Researcher. Prior to imec, Alireza Sheikh was a Postdoctoral Researcher and Guest Lecturer at Eindhoven University of Technology from June 2019 to August 2020, focusing on Applications of Information Theory. Alireza Sheikh completed a PhD in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering at Chalmers University of Technology from 2014 to 2019, where involvement included roles as a Guest Lecturer and Teaching Assistant. Notable experience includes participation as a Student Organizer for the European School of Information Theory and Visiting Researcher at institutions such as the German Aerospace Center. Alireza Sheikh’s educational background includes degrees from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad and the University of Tehran, culminating in a Master's degree in Communications (Systems).
