Jan Vangeenberghe started their work experience in 1988 as a Branch Manager at SFD Sociaal Secretariaat (VKW groep). Jan then moved on to become a Sales Director at SFD Sociaal Secretariaat (Now Acerta) in 1993. In 1999, Jan joined imec as an HR Director, where they managed the HR services department and was responsible for a variety of HR-related tasks. In 2019, they became the VP of Human Resources at imec.
Jan Vangeenberghe obtained a Master's degree in Law from KU Leuven, completing their studies from 1981 to 1986.
