Joanna Vanvleet

JoAnna Van Vleet Martelle, D.O., DFAPA is a highly experienced medical professional currently serving as the Medical Director at Recovery Bay Center since January 2024 and as Chief Medical Officer at iMind Mental Health Solutions since February 2022. With a long-standing commitment to mental health care, JoAnna has held the role of Medical Director at Florida Psychiatry Associates, LLC since 2012, and previously at Strive Health & Wellness from September 2023 to February 2024. Earlier career experiences include serving as a Psychiatrist at Armor Correctional Health Services and Geo Care, Inc. JoAnna's educational background includes a Doctor of Osteopathy from Nova Southeastern University, completed a Psychiatry Residency at Henry Ford Behavioral Health Systems, and a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from Florida Atlantic University. Currently, JoAnna is furthering education at Emory University - Goizueta Business School.
