Kian Shirazi

Kian Shirazi is a Propulsion Engineer currently working at Impulse Space. Kian previously worked as a Graduate Research Assistant (Space Systems Design Lab) at the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2021, a Propulsion Engineering Intern at Benchmark Space Systems in 2021, a Spacecraft Mechanical Engineering Intern at CesiumAstro in 2021, an Undergraduate Independent Researcher (Space Systems Design Lab) at the Georgia Institute of Technology from 2019-2021, an Engineering Intern - Spacecraft Division at Firefly Aerospace in 2020, an Undergraduate Research Assistant (Ben T. Zinn Combustion Lab) at the Georgia Institute of Technology from 2018-2019, and a Vertically Integrated Project at the Georgia Tech Research Institute in 2018. Additionally, Kian has volunteered with Habitat for Humanity since 2013.

Kian Shirazi obtained a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2020. Kian is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering (Propulsion & Combustion and Space System Design & Optimization) at the Georgia Institute of Technology, which they are expected to complete in 2022.
