Chris Angell

Chris Angell, PhD, serves as a Visiting Assistant Professor of Biology and Biology Lab and Stockroom Manager at Earlham College since August 2021, where responsibilities include managing teaching and research labs and co-leading the New Zealand Semester Program focused on environmental and cultural issues. In addition to current roles, Chris is a Volunteer Curator with iNaturalist and has previous experience as a Collections Consultant at the Joseph Moore Museum. Academic background includes a Ph.D. in Biology from the University of Ottawa and a B.A. in Biology from Earlham College. Prior experiences encompass roles as a Teaching Assistant and Graduate Researcher, contributing to various biology courses and conducting research on sexual selection and life history evolution, along with several environmental education and camp leadership positions.
