Raymond Szmigiel

Raymond Szmigiel is a seasoned professional in instructional design and learning development, currently serving as a Senior Learning Specialist at Independence Blue Cross since November 2019, where responsibilities include project management and mentoring within the Operations Academy team. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Instructional Design Consultant at Reisman Consulting, where e-learning and training projects for Marketing University and OCEO Learning were designed and managed, and as an Instructional Design Consultant for Burlington Stores. Additional roles include instructional design positions at Wells Fargo, Performance Development Group, and KeelWorks Foundation, among others. Academic credentials feature a Master’s degree in Instructional Design/Training & Development from Penn State Great Valley and a BA in Communications from Villanova University. Notable accomplishments include the design of an e-learning course promoting energy-efficient computer usage using Captivate.
