Abraham George

Abraham George is a prominent academic in the field of architecture, serving as Professor and Head of the Department of Architecture and Regional Planning at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur since January 2009. Prior to this role, Abraham George was an Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Architecture at the National Institute of Technology Calicut from August 1988 to January 2009. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Architecture with a focus on Education Communication Design from NIT Calicut, a Fulbright Fellowship at Cornell University specializing in Architecture, Landscape, and Cultural studies, and a Master of Architecture from IIT Kharagpur.
