Industrial Defender
Jeff Smigel currently serves as VP Engineering at Industrial Defender, a position held since the company became independent in January 2020. Prior to this, Jeff was Director of Software Engineering at Capgemini from February 2019 to December 2019, following Capgemini's acquisition of Leidos Cyber. Before that, Jeff held the same role at Leidos from August 2016, after Leidos acquired Lockheed Martin Industrial Defender. Jeff's career began at Industrial Defender Inc. in November 2005 as a Senior Software Engineer, following a tenure as Principal Software Engineer at Lockheed Martin and earlier positions as Systems Administrator at Verano and I.T. Assistant at the University of Calgary. Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Calgary.
