Ignacio Gasco

Ignacio (Nacho) Gasco is a seasoned professional in the field of visual effects and animation, currently serving as Lead Lighting TD at Industrial Light & Magic since August 2021, with responsibilities for lighting shots and coordinating with various departments using The Foundry’s Katana and Pixar’s Renderman. Prior to this role, Nacho was an instructor at Think Tank Training Centre, where a 12-week curriculum on lighting and rendering was developed. Experience also includes positions as Lighting TD at DNEG, Lighting Artist at Hydraulx and Rainmaker Entertainment Inc., and a 3D Intern at CUSTOM EFFECTS. Nacho holds a diploma with honors in 3D Animation and Visual Effects from Vancouver Film School and a Bachelor's degree in Art & Design with an emphasis in Visual Storytelling from Escola Massana Centre d'Art i Disseny.
