Sunhyea Heather Yoon

Sunhyea Heather Yoon is a skilled lighting technical director with extensive experience in the film and visual effects industry. Currently serving as a Senior Lighting Technical Director at Industrial Light & Magic since November 2020, notable projects include "Twisters" (2024) and contributions to "The Mandalorian" Season 3. Previous roles include Lighting Technical Director for "ABBA Voyage" and "Percy Jackson and the Olympians" (2023), as well as Junior Lighting Technical Director on major films such as "Jurassic World Dominion" and "The Book of Boba Fett." Prior to Industrial Light & Magic, experience includes positions at DNEG, Mill Film, and Technicolor. Educational credentials include an Associate's degree in 3D Modeling, Art & Animation from the British Columbia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in cosmetic/make-up design from the National Institute for Lifelong Education.
