Rajath Rao

Rajath Rao is an experienced AI and machine learning researcher currently working as an (MTS) AI Research Scientist at Inflection AI since June 2025. Additionally, Rajath serves as a Graduate Research Assistant at Stony Brook University under Professor Andrew Schwartz, focusing on multimodal foundation models and EEG encoder/decoder networks for Brain Computer Interface applications. Previous roles include a ML Research Engineer at SiMa.ai, where optimization for ML inference on SoC edge devices was achieved, and a Deep Learning Engineer Intern at Intel Corporation, enhancing transformers for GAUDI hardware accelerators. As a HPC Software Engineer Co-Op at Intel, Rajath contributed to the development of HPC infrastructure and automation for data centers. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Data Science from Stony Brook University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science & Engineering from UC Irvine.
