Hugo Leon

Hugo Leon has extensive work experience in engineering and research roles. Hugo is currently employed at ColdQuanta, Inc. as an Engineer since November 2019. Previously, they worked as a Lead Engineer at SioTeX Corporation from July 2017 to 2019. Before that, they were a Principal Design Engineer (contract) at BroEn Technology Inc. for the period of January 2017 to July 2017. Additionally, they served as a Lead Research Engineer at Stellar Micro Devices from August 2012 to December 2016. Prior to that, they held the position of a Programmer Analyst at University of Texas San Antonio from August 2010 to July 2012. Hugo also worked as a Programmer and Electronics Engineer at University of Texas Health Science Center from February 2011 to August 2011. Hugo began their career as a Robotics and Electronics Research Engineer at University of Illinois, where they also held the role of a Laboratory Manager and Research Engineer from June 2006 to August 2010. Lastly, they worked as a Biomaterials Research Assistant at University of Illinois from August 2004 to May 2005.

Hugo Leon completed their Engineer's Degree in MatSE from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where they studied from 2000 to 2005. In 2019, they pursued a Nanodegree in Artificial Intelligence from Udacity, and their education in this field is ongoing.
