Asim Haque has over 30 years of work experience in various roles and companies. Asim started their career at National Computers in Karachi, Pakistan, where they rose to the position of Senior Systems Executive. Asim then joined American Express as an Assistant EDP Manager, responsible for software development and implementation in the banking environment. After that, Asim worked at Al-Futtaim Computers in Dubai, UAE, as a Senior Systems Sales Manager, where they developed territories for marketing and sales of software solutions.
In 2000, Asim joined Microsoft, initially as a Regional Enterprise Account Manager in Dubai, responsible for managing customers in the UAE, Oman, and Pakistan. Asim then moved on to become the Enterprise & Partner Group Manager for Microsoft Pakistan, where they had accountability for revenue in various segments. Asim further advanced their career within Microsoft, becoming the Enterprise & Partner Group - Segment Director and later the Sales Operations Manager in Asia Pacific.
After leaving Microsoft, Asim joined SAP as a Director, responsible for establishing SAP's footprint in the banking and insurance sectors in Pakistan.
Most recently, Asim worked at InfoTech Group as the Chief Operating Officer, overseeing the overall operations of the company. Prior to that, they held roles as the Vice President - Country Sales Leader and Vice President - Territory Leader Sales in the South Region.
Throughout their career, Asim has demonstrated expertise in sales, management, and leadership, and has successfully managed large portfolios and teams.
Asim Haque obtained an MBA in Marketing & Finance from the Institute of Business Administration from 1987 to 1990. Prior to that, they completed their O' Levels in Pre-engineering from St. Paul's English High School, which they attended from 1967 to 1975. In addition, they have a certification in Finastra Sales Priority Program- Accredited Expert Sales from Finastra in 2022.
