Fiona Guthrie is currently the Chief Communications Officer at Innocence Project. Fiona previously held roles at Ford Foundation, Australian Mission to the United Nations, BBC, Australian Broadcasting Corporation, Radio 6NR, and 5UV. Guthrie has extensive experience in media relations, public engagement strategy, producing and presenting radio and TV shows, and overseeing teams of storytellers, designers, and digital strategists. Fiona holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Adelaide.

The Innocence Project is a non-profit legal clinic affiliated with the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law at Yeshiva University and created by Barry C. Scheck and Peter J. Neufeld in 1992. The project is a national litigation and public policy organization dedicated to exonerating wrongfully convicted people through DNA testing and reforming the criminal justice system to prevent future injustice.
