Joe Donato is currently serving as the Director of Information Technology at Innocence Project, where Joe is responsible for overseeing all technology operations. Prior to this, Joe held the role of Director of Technology at The Osborne Association for several years, managing technology operations in multiple locations. Additionally, Joe has experience as an IT Project Manager, focusing on the development and maintenance of various web-based and cloud applications. Joe Donato graduated from Southern Illinois University in 1998.

The Innocence Project is a non-profit legal clinic affiliated with the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law at Yeshiva University and created by Barry C. Scheck and Peter J. Neufeld in 1992. The project is a national litigation and public policy organization dedicated to exonerating wrongfully convicted people through DNA testing and reforming the criminal justice system to prevent future injustice.
