Laura Knuckle joined Innomar in May 2018 as Vice President and Chief Canadian Counsel. Laura oversees a team focusing on contracts, privacy, employment law and patient support program compliance.
Laura has over 20 years of healthcare and employment law experience. She started her career at a large Toronto law firm, and then moved into the financial sector. She led the employment law team at RBC, where her focus was on helping her team get closer to the business to support them in delivering their goals. She then moved into the healthcare industry to take on the role of General Counsel at EMD Serono where privacy and compliance were added to her mandate.
While at EMD Serono, Laura worked with a team of lawyers and compliance officers from other pharmaceutical companies to update the IMC (formerly Rx&D) Code of Ethical Practices in 2012. She is a champion of working collaboratively with a team to find solutions for the business. Laura has a business degree from McMaster University and a law degree from the University of Windsor.
