Pierre Alliez

Pierre Alliez is an accomplished researcher and academic with extensive experience in the field of geometric modeling and digital geometry processing. Currently serving as the President of the Evaluation Commission at Inria since January 2002, Pierre also holds the position of Scientific Director of the Inria-DFKI partnership and is a Senior Researcher leading the TITANE project-team. Additionally, Pierre functions as the Co-editor in Chief of the Computer Graphics Forum and holds the 3IA Côte d’Azur chair at Université Côte d’Azur. Previous roles include Junior Research Scientist at Inria, visiting faculty at Caltech, and a post-doctoral researcher at the University of Southern California. Pierre earned a PhD in Signal and Image Processing from Télécom Paris, where research focused on digital geometry processing and computer graphics.
