Eddie Ray Watts

Eddie Ray Watts is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in high-throughput chemistry and biochemistry. Currently serving as Vice President of High-Throughput Chemistry at insitro since November 2020, Eddie has previously co-founded Haystack Sciences, where DNA Encoded Library Technologies were developed from 2016 to November 2020. Prior roles include Senior Scientist positions at DiCE Molecules and Impossible Foods Inc., focusing on DNA-Programmed Combinatorial Chemistry. Eddie's academic background includes a PhD in Chemistry from Stanford University, complemented by a BA in English from Baylor University. Eddie's early career includes a postdoctoral fellowship at Vanderbilt University and leadership experience in the United States Marine Corps as an Infantry Squad Leader. Additionally, Eddie owned Rising W Cattle Co from 1994 to 2000.
