Max Salick

Max Salick is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in biomedical research and engineering. Currently serving as Director at insitro since November 2018, Max has held multiple roles within the company, including Associate Director, Senior Scientist, and Scientist II. Prior experience includes a position as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research from December 2014 to November 2018, and a Graduate Research Assistant role at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from August 2008 to November 2014, focusing on stem cell differentiation and material properties. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Materials Science with a specialization in Tissue Engineering, as well as a Master's and Bachelor's in Engineering Mechanics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Additional earlier experience includes internships at ULA and Fairbanks Morse Engine, where engineering and analytical skills were applied to aerospace and marine applications.
